Dr. Matthew Harres is a 2002 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 1998 from Milliken University in Decatur, IL. Before starting at All Pets Hospital, Dr. Harres worked for six years in Naperville, IL. His interests in the veterinary field include preventative medicine, internal medicine (especially endocrinology), and surgery of all types. He enjoys educating clients and forming strong client-patient relationships. Dr. Harres is married to another veterinarian, Dr. Adrianne Brusek (who practices in St. Charles, IL). They are expecting their first child in early August 2008. Dr. Harres also has two Irish Setters (Raymond and Tilly), one Black Labrador mix (Guinness), and two cats (Gatsby and Elsie). In his free time, Dr. Harres likes to golf, travel, read, cook, go to movies, and spend time with his family in St. Louis. Dr. Harres is also an avid sports fan; he cheers for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, Illini basketball and football teams, the Bears, and the Bulls.
